When To Use Grocery Parm Over Parmigiano

You might have found it confusing seeing your local grocery sell “Parm” in bottles while the deli sells it in blocks. We usually just call the grocery version Parmesan and the deli version Parmigiano.

Hailing from Italy, parmigiano translates to “Parmesan” in English. But despite the similar names, the two parms don’t behave the same way.
