Crispy Burger with Korean Spicy Noodles
Instant ramen is now everyone’s favorite snack, thanks to the K-culture wave of 2020. But if you’re looking to turn a pack into a meal, all you need to do is top it with fried CDO Crispy Burger.
Ingredients
Crispy Burger with Spicy Noodles
- 3 CDO Crispy Burgers, fried to package instructions
- 1 pack spicy instant ramen
- 2 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- black and white sesame seeds, for garnish
- 1 tbsp spring onions, for garnish
Cook noodles: Cook ramen noodles in a pot of water, reserving the packets, according to package instructions. Drain water and keep noodles in the pot.
Make sauce: Over medium heat, add ¼ cup water, ramen seasoning, gochujang and sesame oil to the noodles. Stir until noodles are evenly coated in gochujang.
Serve: Transfer noodles to a bowl. Top with CDO Crispy Burger. Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions.
Aloha Crispy Burger Sliders
Go Hawaiian for merienda by making these sliders that have all the ingredients for an aloha-style burger. The sweet pineapple complements the crispiness of the fried, breaded burgers.
Ingredients
Aloha Crispy Burger Sliders
- 4 CDO Crispy Burgers
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 pieces mini burger buns, pandesal, monay, or dinner rolls
- 4 pieces lettuce
- 4 slices pineapple rings
- 2 tomatoes, sliced thinly
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise, divided
Cook burgers: Fry CDO Crispy Burgers to package instructions. At the last step, add a slice of cheese over each burger. Set aside.
Assemble sliders: Layer one piece lettuce, one slice pineapple, and ¼ of the sliced tomato onto each bottom half of bread. Place CDO Crispy Burger over the tomato. Spread 1 tbsp mayo on the cut side of the top bun, then bring the two halves of the bread to form a slider. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Serve.
Crispy Burger "Bistek"
While it’s easy to eat the CDO Crispy Burgers as is, have them instead with rice, and this salty-sour bistek-style glaze. While it has all the flavors associated with beefsteak Tagalog, the thicker sauce is almost like a Filipino-style barbecue sauce, and goes well slathered all over the crumbed beef burgers.
Ingredients
Crispy Burger Bistek
- 3 CDO Crispy Burgers, fried to package instructions
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 large white onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- ⅔ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp calamansi juice
- 1 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp water
For Serving
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 tbsp spring onions, minced
Cook onions and sauce: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook onions until softened, about 2 minutes. Add the brown sugar, soy sauce, and calamansi juice. Stir to mix.
Make slurry: Whisk together flour and water in a small bowl to make a slurry. Stir into the sauce, then bring to a boil. Once sauce has thickened, remove from heat.
Serve: Divide cooked rice and fried CDO Crispy Burgers between plates or bowls. Top burgers with sauce, then garnish with spring onions. Serve.
Crispy Burger Patty Melt Recipe
There’s more to life than just the ordinary cheeseburger. Patty melts are an American staple, known for the generous amount of cheese and caramelized onions in each sandwich. Use CDO Crispy Burger for an even better version. Serve with pickles on the side to cut the richness with their sourness.
Ingredients
Crispy Burger Patty Melt
- 6 CDO Crispy Burgers, fried to package instructions
- 2 large white onions, sliced thinly
- 1 tbsp oil
- salt, to taste
- 4 slices white or wheat bread
- 4 slices cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- pickles, optional
Cook onions: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook, stirring frequently, until caramelized, about 15 minutes. Add salt to taste then set aside.
Assemble sandwiches: Add half of the caramelized onions over one slice of bread. Place 3 pieces of CDO Crispy Burger over the onions then top with half the cheese. Top with a second piece of bread to finish the sandwich. Repeat until you have 2 sandwiches.
Melt cheese: Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add sandwiches to the pan and cook until cheese is melted, about 6 minutes. Flip the sandwiches halfway to toast both sides evenly. Serve hot with pickles on the side, if using.
Crispy Burger Musubi
This handheld snack has become popular because of its familiar yet unique combination, and replacing the protein with CDO Crispy Burger will make it even more satisfying. Adding sweet teriyaki sauce brings the whole bite together.
Ingredients
Crispy Burger Musubi
- 2 CDO Crispy Burgers, fried to package instructions
- 1 cup rice
- 2 tbsp furikake or rice seasoning
- 4 tbsp teriyaki sauce
- 2 sheets nori, cut into 2-inch strips
Assemble musubi: Divide rice into two. Pack each half into discs about the same size as the CDO Crispy Burgers. Sprinkle furikake or rice seasoning evenly over the rice patties. Divide teriyaki sauce and spread evenly over the rice, then top with one CDO Crispy Burger each. Wrap each musubi in cut nori, sealing it with a bit of water, and serve.
