- 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp thinly sliced shallots
- 3 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1–2 tbsp chopped Thai or local chilies
- 1 tbsp palm or brown sugar
Make prik nam pla: Add all ingredients in a small bowl. Stir to combine. Let sauce steep for at least 10 minutes, then serve.
