Overnight oats may be a quicker alternative to other breakfast options, but it's certainly packed with health benefits. Avocado is one of the go-to fruits for many health-conscious people today. It's become so popular that you're bound to see a toast or rice bowl version of it on a menu. For most of us, it's been a common dessert staple that's very reminiscent of our childhood. But this sweet avocado oats recipe recognizes those nostalgic roots and brings them back to the healthy eater today.
Ingredients
- ½ cup Quaker Oats
- ¾ cup milk
- ½ medium avocado, about ¼ cup mashed
- 4 tbsp honey, divided
- 1 tbsp chopped almonds, optional
In a small jar, whisk together milk, mashed avocado, and 3 tablespoons honey until well combined.
