Overnight oats may be a quicker alternative to other breakfast options, but it's certainly packed with health benefits. Avocado is one of the go-to fruits for many health-conscious people today. It's become so popular that you're bound to see a toast or rice bowl version of it on a menu. For most of us, it's been a common dessert staple that's very reminiscent of our childhood. But this sweet avocado oats recipe recognizes those nostalgic roots and brings them back to the healthy eater today.

  • ½ cup Quaker Oats
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ medium avocado, about ¼ cup mashed
  • 4 tbsp honey, divided
  • 1 tbsp chopped almonds, optional
1

In a small jar, whisk together milk, mashed avocado, and 3 tablespoons honey until well combined.

2

Add the oats to the airtight container and stir well.

3

Top with chopped avocado. Close the jar and leave the oats to soak overnight.

4

The next day, top oats with the remaining honey. Add almonds for extra crunch, if desired.
